Hi
I have a problem that I am wondering if anyone has experienced and has a solution.
I have installed NIS2009 and have Norton Anti-spam integrated with Outlook 2003. I have 2 user profiles (accounts) established in Outlook 2003.
When I opened Outlook 2003 (user profile 1) for the first time after installing NIS2009 I got the "train Norton Anti-spam engine" window and completed the training OK. The Norton anti-spam toolbar established ok in Outlook and the contact list for the Outlook "user 1 profile" account was imported with no problems.
On closing Outlook and reopening for the first time with the "User 2 profile" the Norton anti-spam toolbar was present ok in Outlook but the "train Norton Anti-spam engine" window didn't appear. On checking the NIS Address List I confirmed the contact list for the "User2 profile" had not been imported. Clicking the "Import" button resulted in the Address List becoming blank for a moment by being replaced with the message "Importing address ...". This was then replaced by the contact list which only comprised the "user 1 profile" contact list that was imported previously.
I am unable to import "User 2 profile" contact list from Outlook. Only the contact list for "User 1 profile" has been imported (this was the first user profile that I opened in Outlook following installation of NIS 2009 and which resulted in the "train Norton Anti-spam engine" window appearing)
Other than this problem NIS 2009 seems to be working ok (scans incoming and outgoing emails, virus scans ok, updates ok etc).
Has anyone experienced this problem? If anyone knows the solution or has any suggestions it would be great to hear from you!
My system spec is:
HP Pavilion dv1000 series laptop with Windows XP Home SP3 fully updated and patched
NIS 2009 16.5.0.135
Thanks in advance
