NIS2009 is on my main machine. I can't connect to it or even ping it from one of my laptops unless I disable Smart Firewall.
I want to tell NIS to trust the other machines, but when I go into Internet | View Network Security Map | Trust Control, the Edit button is greyed out and I cannot click on it. I've added the NICs of my laptops to the list of machines in the map, but I still can't ping the main machine.
I think I need to be able to change the trust control of the network, but what is making the Edit button disabled?
I am running Cisco VPN Client 5.0.05.0290 without the stateful firewall, but the behaviour is the same whether the client is connected or not, or if the Cisco service is running or not.
Is there something simple which is misconfigured that disables the Edit button?
