I am using DELL Inspiron 1720 that was shipped with 3 year subscription of NIS 2007. Windows Vista 32 Bit Business Edition SP2 is the O.S. Recently on LiveUpdate, I upgraded to NIS 2010. However, when I restarted the computer, it slowed down "drastically" to no end rendering the system inoperable. Subsequently, I un-installed NIS2010 in the Safe Mode and was able to work again; minus any N.I.S. I tried to re-install NIS 2010, but the same thing happened again. Everytime I am using the same Installation Files that was downloaded by the system the first time. I have gone through the whole process atleast 5 times running into the same roadblock. Can someone please help? How do I resolve the issue??? Please help urgently. Is NIS 2010 incompatible with 32-bit VISTA Business SP2 edition? How do I get and use lower versions of NIS? I still have NIS 2007 installation files that I can use. But would really want to have latest files / editions of NIS.
