[NIS2010] How can I turn off background job?

How can I turn off background job? Or may I disable some of the background jobs?

 

Running background jobs keeps my CPU usage and HardDisk usage medium to high. The temperature of the CPU cannot remain low and the fan keep on turning in a high speed making annoying noise. So I wanna turn off the background jobs.
