My computer is never idle. At least for 10 minutes or more (Idle Time Out). When I'm not using it, it's in hibernation. So when X days passed and NIS never found an opportunity to perform its Full System Scan, it insisted on doing it while I was actively using the computer (I did look at the idle bar, and it was all black, whatever that means). Is this enforced behavior by design or is it a bug? I've seen other talk about this in past years, but it's surprising to actually see now. I've disabled Idle Full System Scan for the time being. BTW, guys, how about putting a way to stop the scan on the tray icon. Where you have it now (Norton Tasks) is almost impossible to find.
