Hi folks,
I have upgraded to NIS2011 today and so far so good except one problem.
Since the upgrade Ad Muncher (http://www.admuncher.com/) was less responsive than before (when NIS2010 was installed). It took ages to load after booting and Ad Muncher's systray icon animation was very slow.
So I excluded complete Ad Muncher folder (C:\Program Files\Ad Muncher) from Auto-protect and SONAR and since then Ad Muncher works like before when NIS2010 was installed.
Anyway, can you (in Symantec) exclude Ad Muncher from scanning in the future updates of NIS2011? Ad Muncher's exe file is signed so there is no reason to be afraid.
