Yesterday my daughter asked me to download a game for her, called "NIVA" (i.e. http://www.nivagame.com). After review, I did so. However, I could not get it to run. Upon investigating, it appears the problem is that Norton removed two .DLL files needed by the application (i.e. "Assembly-CSharp.dll" and "Assembly-CSharp-firstpass.dll"). The Norton details say that it's due to "WS.Reputation.1". After reading up on this, my impression is that essentially the files are assumed guilty into proven innocent - so to speak. Given that, would it be reasonably safe for me to exclude the folder for the same, from scanning?
THANKS - ma
