In 13 hours of battery time, NMS has had my GPS turned on for 1 hour, 20 minutes. On the web site mobilesecurity.norton.com it is reporting my location every 8 - 10 minutes.
I am indoors for 8 hours and the constant GPS polling is killing my battery. I have unlocked my phone to discover the GPS trying to take a reading indoors for NMS. Rather than trying for 30 seconds and shutting the GPS down like most other GPS enabled apps, it will hold the GPS on indefinately until I either manually turn off the GPS or kill the NMS service.
We used to be able to set how often NMS would poll the GPS from the web site, but that option has disappeared.
My Razr Maxx is reduced to 50% battery when pre NMS would have left it at 70%
