NMS for iOS, does it now include an imbedded VPN?

I just upgraded to 360 Deluxe to get the added VPN feature and I am having licensing issues. My iPhone and iPad are each consuming two licenses (4 total) because of having both the VPN and mobile security apps installed. I don't have enough to cover my windows pc's and iOS devices nor should I have to. Nowhere does it say iOS devices require two licenses per device for 360 Deluxe. I notice that my mobile security app appears to have a vpn built into it without separately installing the vpn app and when I remove the vpn app it appears to be working inside NMS. Is that really the case or do I still need to separately install the VPN app and if so how do I get around it claiming two of my licenses for each device. Norton chat support just told me maybe it will be one product someday, but as of now it consumes two licesnes per iOS device. I think they are wrong and nowhere can I see that being stated.

Cell data connections are encrypted already. Here is a Norton blog article on connection types and possible vulnerabilities.   https://us.norton.com/internetsecurity-wifi-how-safe-is-surfing-on-4g-vs-wi-fi.html

Thank you for this solution. I had already removed the vpn apps from both devices and deleted the newest license which has taken care of the licensing problem. I could see the new vpn in the NMS app, but didn't know if it was actually working on it's own or needed the vpn app installed as well. I'm glad to know I only need NMS on both devices to use the vpn service. NMS has a nice vpn auto feature which will turn the vpn on and off as needed without your involvement. I noticed at home and work it says the network is secure and doesn't require one which is nice, but it doesn't turn it on when you are on the cellular network. Would you recommend turning it on for cellular or not? Thank you again for your help

The issue with two activations for an iOS device can be resolved by installing NMS and the standalone VPN apps in the right order. You would need to delete both apps from the device, then go into your Norton Account and remove the activations. Then install and activate the VPN app first, then the NMS app. This will only use one activation.

Having said that, the latest version of NMS for iOS does appear to now have the VPN feature included with NMS. So no need for the standalone app any more. So you can remove the VPN app and then go into your Norton Account and you will probably have to remove both entries for the device and then re activate your NMS from the app on your device.
