Hi.
I’ve got NMS set up on my device so that if the SIM card is removed or changed, the phone automatically locks itself.
For some reason my phone randomly locks via NMS when my phone starts up. It doesn’t always do this, but it is inconvenient when it does.
I’m also finding that more recently, upon unlocking my phone I’m told that NMS changed my system unlock PIN, and asks if I want to reset it. However it seems that when I choose yes, it takes me to the Security settings page which doesn’t have the option to set a new Android Lock Screen PIN - it actually should go to the Lock Screen page.
I I have reason to believe that NMS might be trying to be ‘too eager’ to find my SIM card I.e trying to find the SIM before the phone is ready to report the presence and identity of any SIM to installed apps.
Is it possible to make NMS a little less hasty in tying to find the SIM so that phones have a chance to get to the stage where they can find the SIM card and present it?
I’m equipped with Android 4.2.2 on a Samsung phone.
