No Automatic Update of LiveUpdate on Macbook Pro running Bootcamp

Hi

No idea if there is a relationship, but the automatic pulse liveupdates work fine on my other computer which is a normal Windows XP PC. This computer is a macbook pro with windows XP installed through bootcamp. Have reinstalled twice and reformatted once. Initially Norton Internet Security 2009 works fine with the pulse updates happening every 10 minutes or so, but then a few hours later it just stops updating unless I manually run a liveupdate.

No viruses (clean computer straight from a reformat and fully scanned). No updates over the intervening period from Windows or anybody. Only thing I can think of that might somehow upset thingsis either the ccleaner program that I do use on occasions to clean the temp directory etc, or that Norton IS 2009 does not play nicely with the bootcamp drivers and/or system? But the use of ccleaner on the other computer running NIS 2009 has no effect - it just keeps on working properly.

Anybody got any experience or solutions to this problem. Norton support have so far (twice now) done nothing more than install liveupdate (that didn't work as Norton IS 2009 uses a different system when viewing msconfig>startup and administrative tools>services info. i.e. No liveupdate link shows in NIS 2009). The second attempt by Norton support just reinstalled NIS 2009 which happened to update me from 16.1.? to 16.2.0.7 but the same problem reappeared a few hours later. In other words I monitor it all for an hour or so, playing around with ccleaner, rebooting and the like and it works like a charm. Then I go away for a few hours, turning off the computer and then come back only to find it will not automatically live update anymore. Quite frustrating.
