No 'Cancel Subscription Renewal' option in My Account

(having to repost as Forum threw me out with error message when attempted to post last time...)

In short there is no 'Cancel Subscription Renewal' next to my sub in My Settings as promised. Just a huge yellow 'Renew Now' button.

Admittedly my credit card has now expired (and to make doubly sure I deleted the expired credit card details also) - which might mean that the Norton system has not been programmed very well and as a result it just removes the 'CSR' button (using the logic that you can't Cancel a Renewal when a Renewal is not possibe due to an expired card).

However this does not help me as a customer - I want to be able to see a message saying 'Yes - you've cancelled' rather than be chewing my fingernails over whether they are going to sting me for £94 renewal.

Incidentally I was not intending to leave Norton - a relative has purchased a subscription via Amazon for me.

However this is the type of thing which does annoy customers (clearly from this forum) -  I wonder if Norton execs realise the damage this kind of confusing/pushy activity causes?

The option to turn off Automatic Renewal appears to be removed as you get close to the subscription expiry. As you have removed your payment information, you do not have to worry about getting renewed. If you do purchase a new Norton Subscription, just be sure you turn off Automatic Renewal as soon as you have activated the new subscription.
