Previously i used to have a machine running on Win XP Pro SP2(NTFS part) on which i had Norton Ghost 12 running full drive backups to an 500 GB external drive(NTFS). my old computer crashed and i have to go for a new laptop with Win 7 home premium. i am interested in continuing with win 7 and i got the information that i can restore all of my data files from the previous backups which were taken with Norton Ghost 12. Hence upgraded to ghost 15 and ran the recovery point browser and under "my documents" folder of my user account, administrator account and all users - i am not able to see any of my personal files - absolutely none. just have 2 folders which are related to my installed programs. i tried all of my previous backups and none of them have any of my personal files and folders in "my documents". can any one help with this please ?
