NO icon on desktop for Norton

I just installed the new Norton 360 Premier.  My old Norton (just expired) had an icon on my desktop that I could click to check on security status.  I don't have this icon with the new Norton.  The only icon I now see is an Identity Safe icon.  What can I do to restore the old type icon OR where can I now get this status information that tells "Security", "Identity", "Backup", and "Tuneup" ?

Thanks, but I finally figured it out.  It "appeared" that Norton had FINISHED its installation.  I'm installing on THREE computers -- two running Windows 7 and one running Vista.  The one running Vista STOPPED after the removal (un-installation) of the old product.  I was stumped...............kept on waiting for something to happen...........then, took out the disk, reinserted, and allowed it to start again.  A window appeared and I clicked on Install.  I then tried the same trick on my desktop running Windows 7.  SUCCESS!!  The old icon reappeared!!

 

The things the smart programmers forget to tell the dummies like me.........  :)
