One feature that I really liked when I evaluated backup software options was what you call “Offsite”. I bakup locally and then to external-USB drives. However, one of the problems that I have is that Ghost never tells me anything about performing Offsite backup. If it weren’t for the activity light on the external drive, I’d never know (and then it’s just a guess) that it is occurring. Worse, none of Ghost’s ‘Status’ areas note Offsite activity; I can never tell if things completed successfully, and I cannot look later at anything to verify that an Offsite backup has ever occurred. In fact, if I didn’t correlate dates/times to files in Windows File Explorer file additions, I’d never know that anything had happened, and the feature would be almost unusable. Am I somehow missing the information that reflects Offsite operations?
