No installations left and have been advised that my Norton Internet Security now only supports one installation?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum as I haven't had a lot of luck with the online chat this evening. I'm trying to set up my new laptop to replace my ancient PC. Looking on my device list I tried to install Norton Internet Security from there but was advised that I had no installations left and that I had to remove a licence to allow the program to be installed on my new laptop. I did this and removed the licence for my old PC only to discover that this didn't fix the issue and I still have no installations?

So after this failed I talked to a man via the online chat who logged into my new laptop and tried to install it. However, he was unable to as the remaining licences I have on the account I need for my other laptop and my son's laptop. The man then advised me that because it was an older product that it only supports one licence now???? I asked how this is possible as I've always had three devices on the account? He said I could no longer have this as it was an older product? I don't see how this can be as I've renewed my subscription every year and when I look on the shop for Norton Internet Security it states it comes with three licences? However, I didn't have a chance to discuss this further with the Norton support as he disconnected from my PC just as I was trying to reply which I'm not impressed with to be honest as he's now left a half installed Norton Internet Security program on my new laptop which I can do nothing with!!

I am running Windows 10 on the new laptop and would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue?

Many thanks
