The night before last I received a message to update my Norton Internet Security to 2009. The download and install seemed to work fine. The next day I tried to connect to the internet and got a window saying I did not have connectivity. I called tech support for my ISP and we walked through possible issues. Since I have wireless on another computer, I was able to confirm cable modem and router are okay. My network card is working according to Windows diagnositics. However, I have no IP address showing up despite clicking on "repair". I also tried shutting down and rebooting computer, modem and router. Strangely enough I had a message pop up on my other computer with the wireless connection saying I had a IP address conflict. I never had this message appear before I loaded the IS 2009. I would greatly appreciate ideas on how to fix. I called Symantec Tech support and waited over an hour but then had to bail.
Thanks.
