No internet browsers work after computer goes to sleep

I recently upgraded to Premier.  Now, our computers have almost become unuseable because each time the laptop or desktop goes to sleep, when we log back in, no internet browser can get to any website (FF, IE, Chrome), and the whole computer comes to a crawl.  I have reinstalled several times.  My machines are Windows 7.    When I uninstall Norton Family, everything works normally.  So, right now I either have to uninstall Online Family, or we have to close all browsers and log off before putting the computer to sleep.

Hi dshenkevans,

I will be glad to setup a remote session with you to check the issue further.  Please let me know when would be the most convenience time for you by private message in the forum.

Thanks,

This post can be marked as resolved.  After a couple days of waiting and installing and re-installing, it all seems to work again.

Hi dshenkevans,

Thanks for the update.  Please let us know if you experience the issue again.

Thanks,

Hi,

The Norton Family team has released an update 2.9.5.9 via Automatic LiveUpdate.  We believe we have corrected the internet connectivity issue.  You will be asked to reboot your machine when the update is available to your machine via the LiveUpdate.  Please retest and let us know if you are still experiencing the issue.

Thanks for your patience,

The Norton Family Team
