No Internet connection when "Stealth Blocked Ports" is turned ON in NIS 2009?

Hi there,

 

I'm not the first person to have this problem but was unable to find an answer to it on that thread.

 

Basically, out of nowhere, I am UNABLE to connect to the Internet if "Stealth Blocked Ports" is turned ON in my Smart Firewall settings of NIS 2009.

 

I don't know what is causing this but I have tried uninstalling with the Norton Program Remover, I've disabled Windows Firewall and Defender, etc.

 

When I reinstall the Internet DOES work for a little while (literally no more than an hour) with it turned ON, and then it breaks again.

 

Any advice would be appreciated!  I'm so lost here!
