I'm running Windows7 64bits with NIS 2011/2012. (OEM-trial=version 2011 upgraded to 2012).
Because of issues with my Windows installation I would like to post these issues in Windows newsgroups (if they still exist?)
In Windows Live Mail I can subscribe to these newsgroups, however, when trying to get the mail-headers/message-headers/ or to synchronize, nothing happens, no messages are shown. I get the impression, that they are blocked. I read somewhere that Norton
doesn't thrust the NNTP-protocol, or whatever. My question is, does NIS block download of messages in Newsgroups? I don't get any notification what's going wrong, nor can I find in NIS what's being blocked or not. Please help.
