No pulse update for an hour

I have received no pulse updates for more than an hour.  This is the third time this year.

Same for me. And it's been almost two hours now. Doesn't this make our PCs vulnerable to threats? Will you guys find a solution?

Nothing here either. Its taking far too long.

Live Update is back! It took two and a half hours, though. I hope my PC's not infected...

Go to your GUI application and check performance than check Norton Tasks and see if pulse updates have a recent time on them, My clock just straightened out and is working again though I noticed that even when the clock said 2 hours Norton Tasks still said I was getting pulse updates..........Best......Gorpy1

Why is this happening anyway? Can we get some sort of official explanation here?

Forty minutes without Live Updates, whatever is the problem I wonder...

When you are dealing with services provided online, there can be temporary outages of service. It can be a server issue at the site you are trying to access, or any one of the interconnected systems between you and that server.

 

That is why I am not ready to trust cloud services with all my data.
