"No remaining installs on my Norton 360 account?

I just renewed Norton 360 for another year. (Original subscription was last August.) I have a Toshiba laptop, an HP desktop and I'm soon getting a new smart phone I'd like to install it on.

When I go to manage.norton.com/subscriptions?[etc] on my laptop I get the following info:

"You don't have any remaining installs. To free an install next to "Manage My Installs" click the trashbin of the device form which you want to remove an install."

The three shown  are

Device Name      First Installation

JOE-PC                 8/19/2014

JOE-HP                 1/21/15 (I assume this is my desktop machine)

JOE-PC                 1/22/15

On my desktop machine (where I'm typing this) I'm on manage.norton.com/ManagementHome and my devices are listed as

jl[lastname]-Windows 7

jl[lastname]- Windows 7-1 "Last online less than 1 hour ago"

jl[lastname]-Windows 7-2 "Last online less than 1 hour ago"

-- without any "First installation" info or "Remove License" trashbin options.

So what's going on here? Which machines are which? How can I be using 3 installs on 2 machines? How do I confirm Norton is actually installed on both my desktop & laptop PC's? How do I simplify things to make that third install available to my smartphone?

A lot of questions, I know, but maybe they're all just aspects of the same question... Thanx much to whomever can help me resolve this!
