No Updates

Hello,

Has anyone else noticed that there have been no updates besides pulse updates in 24 hours?  At least I haven't had any updates on two computers running Norton 360v20.2.1.22.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Krusty13  :)

Just checked N360 LiveUpdate history in the N360 Version 20.2.0.19 tasks and

found that the last update was the 21st of January at 10:37am.:smileysurprised:

I have had the PC that i checked on up until 9pm yesterday and on again today for

at least 2 and a half hours and no more LiveUpdates since yesterday.:smileysurprised:

So i guess that does confirm that you are not the only N360 user with this issue.

But i did notice one thing being it would appear that i do not have the newest version

of N360 on this particular PC.plus my other PC is the same as i just checked it now.:smileysurprised:

Anyway i hope that info helps. :)

Cheers. :smileywink:

Appologires as i did not state that by my time zone it has also nearly been

24 hrs since the last LiveUpdate when looking at the Tasks History for

LiveUpdate with N360.

Cheers. :smileywink:

Hi Smithy,

Thanks for letting us know.  FWIW I just ran Live Update and received my first update in 24 hrs - Safe Web Statistics.  Running Live Update again and I received a Live Update with 6 fails:smileysurprised:

Cheers,

Dave

I've run live update twice today and both times there were updates downloaded.

It's not just N360.  I have NIS 2013, and I hadn't recieved anything other than pulse updates for more than 24 hrs as well.  Finally ~ 5 minutes ago I got 8 updates.  I saw the same thing between Saturday and Sunday, with no updates until Sunday night.

Well, I've just ran Live Update again and this time all 6 updates succeeded, so I guess I can call it case closed.

Thanks,

Dave

Cool, good news.:smileywink:

Same thing here just ran LiveUpdate and had 7 updates come thru. :)

Once again all is good. :smileyhappy:

Cheers. :smileywink:

Hey Smithy,

Haven't you received the new version patch yet?  I know it is released in a phased manner, but you shouldn't have to wait too long.  :smileywink:

There have been a few threads noting no updates for some time. I was wondering if it did not have something to do with Norton updating the LiveUpdate servers for the 20.2.1.22 version update.

Hi Peter,

I don't know, but after those updates earlier I've only had pulse updates since. That's 12 hours ago.  :smileysurprised:

Dave

The updates seem to be somewhat more regular now.  :smileyhappy:

Hello

I have seen during the past few days that there have been long spans of time with no Auto-Live Updates or manual ones. Sometimes 12 hours, 7 hours and other long periods of time. When Auto Live Updates finally do start up for the day, then there are 6 or 7 updates at once. My net is ok Emails and my net is always on. Has there been server issues.? This may have started with 22.10.0.85 which sounds about right. I don't have Cmos issues.

Thanks

flo

Thanks. Maybe you could reply to Flo's post as well....And anyway, the sooner the better.....

Verizon gave their email service to AOL.Mail. Verizon got out of the Email business end. Still the same email addresses, but it now uses AOL Mail servers which uses my Outlook.

AOL owns CompuServe and CompuServe email, which still exists and is used by people I know. I can tell you that I see many reports of problems since the AOL must have made some changes. Even on unrelated locations like the Service Dog Project where there are complaints from the "top dog" wink that her AOL mail changed and now she can't do such and such ...

My message was just to pass on that email does seem to have specific problems and that yesterday my "Spectrum" (used to be BrightHouse) email was choked in some way -- perhaps some mass attack?

Hello Hugh

I use Office 2013, so I have Outlook 2013 for my emails. Verizon gave their email service to AOL.Mail. Verizon got out of the Email business end. Still the same email addresses, but it now uses AOL Mail servers which uses my Outlook.

Thanks.

I had no downloads for like 13 hours, but I didn't lose the net since I got emails during that time period.

FWIW I was having serious trouble with all email connections using WLM on Windows 7. It authorized very slowly if at all after not recognizing my password but accepting it when repeated. This went on for most of the afternoon and then cleared for a while after I Restarted.

But came back again early this evening although not so badly. Now seems OK.

Hello Tony

Me Too for Dave's request for auto saved.

Thanks.
