In an effort to help speed up my computer, on July 07, I decided to stop 'NOBUClient.exe' from running on startup. Manually running it seems to work for me. However, I have found that, when I am done backing up my files, the only ways I am able to end the process mentioned above is by either logging off of my Windows account, or restarting my computer. Furthermore, when I log back on, the NOBU service is running, even though the client process isn't. When I try to manually end the process and service via 'Windows Task Manager', a popup appears that says, "Unable to Stop Service The operation could not be completed. Access is denied." There is one button in the box and it says "OK", as well as a clickable "X" button in the top right-hand corner. As a result, I click one of the buttons and the box disappears. Is there a way I can end both each time the backup completes without restarting?
