I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a Windows 7 Pro laptop which I currently use as the Administrator. My child also uses the laptop and has a standard user account so they cannot install any software.
I have been using Norton family for a while on this laptop but it suddenly stopped working yesterday after updating my browser to IE9.
I have checked all of the account settings, I have chosen to block several categories and specified a list of sites to block www.facebook.com being one of them.
When I am logged into the laptop as my child they are allowed to visit Facebook even though it is in my block list. I have noticed that the NOF account online is only logging certain account activity, the sites which should be allowed, no mention of Facebook.
Because of these problems I also installed Firefox 4 but exactly the same thing happened. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled NOF several times.
I started an online support chat with Norton yesterday but got absolutely no where. After about 2 hours of trying the agent told me that I could not have an Administrator and my child's account on the same laptop and then went on to tell me that the child account must be a guest account!
Any ideas how to solve this?
