Non working Norton WiFi Privacy VPN

Bought the VPN 2 weeks ago, but it has never worked correctly. Customer support (?) tells me my enquiry has been "escalated" and I will have to wait. When I asked how long I was told maybe weeks. I have said a number of times I require it to work by the end of this week. I have had no feedback on progress....how do I get some urgency in their deliberations or do I have to purchase another manufacturers product. I am not a happy customer.
