Norton 2010 preventing Vista Gadgets from working properly.

I previously had Avast!'s Free Anti-Virus and both of my third-party Vista Gadgets were working properly. The gadgets I am referring to are my Pandora radio and Skype gadgets. After installing Norton 2010 both gadgets are no longer working. I have written up each gadget's situation below, and am wondering if there is a setting change or something else I can do to get the gadgets working again.

Pandora Gadget: it has a known bug in that the gadget does not work with the 64-bit version of Vista Business I am running. I have already performed a work around so that Vista will run the 32-bit version of the sidebar. However, after the install of Norton 2010, Pandora has reverted back to a state of requiring a Flash version that I alredy have installed.

Skype Gadget: I can live without this gadget but would just like to know why it isn't working. Post-install of Norton 2010 the Skype gadget displays the following error message: "Skype4COM.dll is not registered. If you have administrative rights, click the link below in order to register this file." I have clicked on the link and I am told that it has been registered and to restart the gadget, which is unsuccessful.

Any help in understanding why these gadgets no longer work would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
