I've reviewed the forum and see that there are some previous entries on the relationship between Norton and Windows Defender. Has there been any change since NIS 2010 has been released? I'd like to make sure I understand what I've read. Currenly I have Windows Vista Home Premium X64. I have NIS 2010. I have the Windows Defender service set on Automatic and it Starts when Windows boots (Norton does not disable it as some of the previous posts have mentioned). I currently have Defender Automatic Scan unchecked (disabled). Is this arrangement OK? I'd like to disable Defender under Services but don't want to 'overkill'. Can I leave the Service running and simply leave Defender Autoscan unchecked and be OK?
Thanks for the help!
John
