I think it is **bleep**ty that I have found several threads about this same issue, and most of the time you support people are blowing smoke up people's asses.
1. Windows won't delete files unless it is told to by a program (virus, or otherwise.)
2. Buying software from someone on eBay, while I do not recommend, is still software with your name bought on eBay. If you don't like it go after ebay, and people selling software illegally, or eat it.
3. Norton products are still **bleep**.
With those three items being said, your trashy installer removed all the program files(x86) and program files. Luckily, I managed to gain more knowledge in my pinky than your whole tech staff has (including your installation building programmers,) so I was able to correct my own issue. My question still remains. Why, after obviously having this issue with other people, does an installer, that downloads updates, and is a year old, still cause this issue?
Caveat, I don't use your **bleep**ty product, and neither does the company I work for. WE used too, until I was hired. Unfortunately, my mother, who lives 1,500 miles away from me was naive when she walked through a store, and bought this piece of **bleep**.
Why is it that the worse software in the world is the software most widely used?
