Hello all,
I'd been using the 2011 version for about 10 months or so flawlessly. My troubles started when i made an attempt to upgrade to 2012 - the upgrade failed twice; somehow upon making it work, the live updates stopped working.
Frustrated, i downloaded the NRnR.exe, did a clean install of 2012, and thought everything should be fine now - but the updates are still failing partially.
The autofix feature of NIS only detects a problem with the live update now....so i'm hoping the installation went well. Can someone please help me know what could then be the cause of this live update failure?
My system details are: Win XP Pro (32 bit), IE 8.0, NIS 19.1.1.3
The components that fail to get updates are: Web protection definitions, IPS definitions, Web protection definitions (hub); and Behaviour and Security Heuristics.
Error message that i get is: "Failed to complete: Insufficient disk space to download updates."
Pulse and Product updates are the onl;y components that get updated regularly.
I have restarted the system at least a few times (over the past week or so); nothing seems to be working :(
Sincerely
Rajat
