My Norton 2012 web protection definition not updating on live updates it is saying failed to complete I don't understand y it wont update as it was updated a couple of days ago and now it is failing I was wondering why this is happening

If i reboot then i will loose norton as i bought it for one pc only and i have used it on this pc. is there anyother way around it? thank you
By "reboot" he means restart your computer...Doing that won't disrupt your subscription in any way.
