Issue abstract: Received the latest Version 24 overnight. Had been on Version 22. Do I need to reboot or run live update? It seems to be working fine, the new UI came right up when I signed onto the laptop. I did not run Live Update as in the past to make sure the patch applies. Is there a patch any longer? I need to learn this new UI.

What is the error message you are seeing? NO errors, need to ask how this new UI works.
In general, the UI is noted to be different than Version 22. Live update runs and the history does not show what happened when live update runs. It used to tell you what was installed. Where can this be found now if any?
Quick Scan is now manual, it used to be after all the SDS files load. How do we know the files loaded?
Live update constantly monitors the computer, for example it keeps telling me when I click into it that the internet connection is safe and I am connected to my Wi-Fi numerous times. WHY?

I am a simple user, one laptop, will continue to peruse and manually scan when needed.
It states when the computer starts there is a start-up scan. Perhaps with this new version that is all we need since it is constantly monitoring in the background? Definitely different as has been described in this forum.
