Trying to download Norton 360 2013 from my Norton account. Downloader installs and runs, then comes with message "Another download manager is currently running. Please wait for it to complete."
I previously had McAfee. Ran McAfee removal tool, Norton removal tool, rebooted. No other Download Manager shows in Task Manager. I did have a successful installation on my Vista laptop without any issues. It also had previously had McAfee installed.
All help is appreciated.

I downloaded from the link provided and installed. I had already used the removal tool.. The install completed, however the Norton 360 control panel does not launch. The browser plugin seems to work. The tray icon also fails to appear. It looks like it is not installed. There is a Norton 360 services running in the Services control panel.
If you have tried to install from your Norton Account since you ran the Norton removal Tool I would still recommend running it again before trying from the download link above.
If N360 is listed in Control Panel > Programs and Features you will be best uninstalling from there first followed by a reboot. Then the NRT and reboot again.
went through the steps and still doesn't launch after reinstall. I still have McAfee subscription left, so will re-install it for now. If anyone has any other ideas, please le tme know.
