Within the past week I had done a full scan with 360 which found no threats other than cookies. Yesterday I checked and saw a newer version of 360 available so I downloaded it (version 22.5.0.124). I then did a full scan, and this time it found 135 Heuristic Viruses, and deleted many files. The viruses were Suspicious.Cloud.9, Suspicious.Cloud.7.L, Suspicious.Cloud.2. A few programs, including Spotify, no longer run.
My question is, does the new version do a better job of detection than the old, or are these things that the previous version would have left alone? Did some attacker infect all these files in the past week? Should I try to restore the deleted files, or reinstall every program that no longer runs?
