Norton 360 26.4.0 for Android Release | March 9, 2026

Android:

  • Previous Build: 26.2.0.

  • Current Build: 26.4.0

  • On March 9, it rolled out to 25% PROD throttle. The rollout will gradually increase and reach 100% in the coming weeks.

What’s new:

- Defect fix for the Norton 360 app freezing/being stuck on the yellow splash screen

Other changes/improvements:

-Smart Scan upsell and monetization experience:
Smart Scan now includes new upsell flows for Norton retention and VPN offers, giving users clearer options to upgrade or add protection directly after scans

-EULA and consent/license expiration journey
The EULA screen has been optimized so users can review and accept terms more easily, reducing friction when setting up protection
The overall license expiration journey is being refined so that customers receive clearer guidance and a smoother path to renew or reactivate their protection when their license is close to or past expiration

-Safe Call, Safe Web, and AntiScam protections
Safe Call behavior has been corrected so that disabling its notifications now works again as expected, preventing unwanted alerts for users who turn them off
A fix is being integrated so Safe Web continues to work even after visiting websites that trigger Google translation prompts, preventing a loss of web protection in that scenario

-Protection score defect fix
A UI issue where a score was being truncated in a tab has been fixed, so users can now see their full score value without confusion

-App Security setup experience
The App Security setup state handling has been improved so that the app more reliably reflects whether App Security is properly configured, helping users understand if they are fully protected or still need to complete setup

-UX changes:

-Removal of the red badge showing on the Home and Menu buttons
Red badge (circle) is expected to show only for Alerts if a critical issue is detected, and Account if there is a pending license-related action

-Removal of Manage/Update renewal options (Buttons) from the Account page - removed in order to comply with Google Play policies.
