Norton 360 5.0 - Virus Definitions do not update via LiveUpdate

I have had this product installed since November and so far I am VERY disappointed in both LiveUpdate's inability to update the virus definitions properly and the fact that I have been unable to find a solution to this problem, even after 4 1/2 hours online with Norton Support.  All other updates install, just not the virus definitions.

 

I am employed as an IT professional and I have searched and read the various suggestions, nothing has worked.  I have to download and install the virus definitions manually every week.  I have been using Norton products for many years and this is the first time I have had this problem with any Norton product.

 

Any suggestions not documented so far are much appreciated.

Hi k_a_p,

 

There has been an ongoing problem on and off for months.  Symantec are aware of this problem and are working to have it solved.  Watch this thread for an update from Tony_Weiss.
