I'm seeing some odd HTML in page headers. I'm pretty sure it is coming from Norton 360 (Premier Edition, 21.4.0.13) but I want to ask to make sure and find out what it is doing. When running Chrome on my Windows 7 & 8.1 machines with Norton 360, examining the header elements I see the following lines that I know for sure aren’t in the original page:
<object id=”cosymantecbfw” … >
<script type="text/javascript" id="cosymantecbfw_resize"> …
<script type="text/javascript" id="waxCS"> …
I only see this with Chrome on Windows 7 & 8.1. I don’t see it in IE or Firefox on those same machines. Also I don’t see it with Chrome on Linux (not running Norton 360).
Can someone confirm that this is coming from Norton 360?
If so, what is its purpose?
Thanks.
