Norton 360 and Cisco VPN

After upgrading to Norton 360 v21.0.1.3 I am unable to access Cisco VPN.  It says I do not have a vailid Virus/firewall programme installed. 

I am using Windows 7 64 bit SP1.

I have spoken to our IT team and they have stated I have to wait until Cisco update their systems and that could take weeks.  I have had to remove Norton and install Microsoft essentials so I can continue to work.

I have NIS installed and also use Cisco VPN. So far no problems. Wonder what the difference is since the basic engines are the same for both products.
