Hi, I'm using Microsoft Outlook for Mac (Version 16.54) (on a 2017 Imac with Mac OS Monterey) to check my comcast email account at home using my Comcast Internet. I frequently receive this message when I try checking my email: "The server for account " [Edited: "Personal Information"]" returned the error "[ALERT] Temporarily blacklisted IP Address - try again later." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?" I've re-entered my user name and password, but I still receive this message. I've also deleted my account in Microsoft Outlook for Mac and re-entered my Comcast account information. Again, I receive the same error.
Through trial and error, I discovered that Norton 360 was the culprit. I removed Norton 360 from my computer and now my email works fine. I would like be able to check my email and to have Norton 360 work on my mac.
Thanks.
P.S. I noticed that when I check my IP address, it sometimes show up as my Comcast IP Address, while other times Norton 360 changes it to Amazon IP address. I'm not sure why Norton 360 is doing this. I'm not using the Norton VPN
