Norton 360 and VPN

I renewed the 360 advanced and happen to be away at present. I am getting a warning that the WiFi here is not secure and to use a VPN( thought it was part of the package. The 360 app is asking me to try a VPN which I do and opens the VPN app which is connected. Doesn’t stop the warning in the 360 app though. How can I get the 2 to sync.

What part of the world are you in? Most 360 subscriptions do have the VPN function included.

If you happen to have a 360 subscription that does not have a VPN, then when you install the standalone VPN, unfortunately the two apps do not communicate with each other. So no way to stop the 360 warning.

If you find your 360 does have the VPN function, (look in the Privacy section of the app), you should uninstall the standalone app and request a refund if necessary.
