The issue is still occurring. I can reproduce the issue. It occurs every time when exiting a program that has been in full screen mode.
A fix would be appreciated.

Piling on, I realize you are looking into it - but this is one of those issues that makes me want to cancel my long running subscription.
Please get this fixed ASAP. AntiVirus should only get in my face when something is wrong.

ok, i wasnt sure last post when i said the fix was not working.
i ran live update on 3 computers, restarted all 3 to be sure.

I updated my Norton 360 today and now I am also having this issue, over an over no matter what I do every 2 or 3 minutes the application will open up, can't seem to get it to stop doing it! I literally updated this thing about 15 minutes ago now, if there was a fix it should have been in that update right? Well, its doing it anyways so its obviously not fixed!

Gayathri R, I have been having the same issue. You say a fix has been released. I've downloaded an update, but I don't know if it's the update with the fix in it.

Just keep trying LiveUpdate. It can sometimes take a little while to get the update to all the servers that provide LiveUpdate service.

I first noticed this issue today. I tried updating Norton and it now repeatedly fails and says it requires a reboot. After the reboot I see the update is not applied and Norton wants me to reboot again.
I started seeing this problem late last night. Am still seeing it today. To answer peterweb I have both shutdown and restarted....the problem continues. It is consistently reopening every 5 minutes or so. beyond annoying

Has everyone here restarted your system since the Norton update? I restart every day and I am not seeing this. Be sure you are using the Restart command. Not Shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. It pops up every 5 minutes, I'm about to uninstall this crap.
