I installed a new Wi-Fi AP (Netgear Nighthawk AX12 RAX120) over the weekend and I am now getting ARP spoofing alerts from Norton 360 v5.1.0.5628 on my Android 11 phones running Android 11. However, my Pixel Slate (up to date Chrome OS) does NOT get the ARP spoofing alert on its Norton 360 implementation. Based on what I am seeing it is not the Nighthawk but a detection error with Norton 360 on my Android devices.
Is the issue resolved for you as well? Please check the Activity Log to see if you received some update in the last day that might explain the fix.
Yes, it worked before. I did restart initially and still received the message; however, at some point during the day (maybe after a third re-start? I'm having to do that more and more or my apps don't work properly) it seems to have cleared up. All good today. Thanks.
Have you had Norton 360 Android working correctly before? Do you continue to get this message if you restart your device?
I haven't made any changes, updates, etc. and am getting the same message--1st time. I'm on Verizon and have a Samsung phone.
You mention Android phones. On what phones are you having this issue? Do all Android 11 phones see this warning?
Are you only using this access point to connect, or do the devices also connect with the main router? How did you set up the access points? Did you follow the instructions on page 85 of the router's manual found here? https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RAX120/RAX120_UM_EN.pdf
What is your main router?
