Is there a way to get Norton 360 Backup to a "network location"? Meaning, there is no way to map a network location to a drive letter.
It only allows to backup to an existing drive letter, or online storage sponsored by Norton.
A network location would be an ftp site. So I could backup my critical work files to my ftp site at home.
If not, This would be a feature request. Does this feature exist in Norton 360 Premier? I have the standard version.
Hi barryware -
Norton 360 will currently support running a backup to a mapped network drive in Windows.
We do not currently support running a backup to an ftp server (this includes Norton 360 Premier). I will pass on this information to our team as a possible feature to add in future releases.
Thanks.

Just to clarify about Premier version of 360, I believe the only difference between the Premier and the Standard version is the amount of storage space that a person has available to use as referenced from the webpage:
http://shop.symantecstore.com/store/symnahho/en_US/ContentTheme/ThemeID.1795800/pbPage.N360v3wide?ipd=InterstitialChall2&ipln=true
The differnce between the two is that standard gives a total of 2Gb of storage space whereas Premier gives a total of 25Gb.
360 Standard has the same features as 360 Premiere minus a smaller amount of online storage space.
Take care,
