Hallo zusammen,
ich hatte mir im Juni Norton 360 (als Download Version) im Angebot bei Amazon gekauft.
Heute, nach gut 2 Monaten, wollte ich die Lizenz auf meinem Computer aktivieren, da die alte Lizenz in den nächsten Tagen ausläuft. Nach der Aktivierung mit der neuen Lizenz, sagt mir Norton 360, die neue Lizenz läuft nur noch 300 Tage. Also sind 65 Tage schon verbraucht… Wie kann das sein? Es wurde nie auf irgendeinem Computer zuvor aktiviert. Das angezeigte Lizenz Startdatum entspricht genau dem Kaufdatum bei Amazon.
Was kann ich nun machen, damit ich die fehlenden 65 Tage zurückbekomme?

Contact support for them to add the days back. Your days should only begin when the product is installed AND activated.

Der Support per Chat führt leider zu keiner Lösung. Laut Support ist der Amazon Kauftag und Lizenz Aktivierungstag der gleiche. Das eine Installation aber erst 65 Tagen (heute) später stattgefunden hat, interessiert den Support leider nicht…
When a subscription is purchased directly from the Norton website, the product is activated as soon as the payment has been made.
It used to be that purchasing from another retailer allowed you to wait until you installed the product to activate the subscription. When you purchased your Norton from Amazon, did you register the product key into your Norton Account? If so, doing that would have activated the subscription.
You should try Norton chat again. Sometimes a different agent will be more sympathetic and helpful.
