Have now had the latest version of 360 for about 2 weeks having used the "check new version" facility. Have regularly run Live Update and last ran it about two / three days ago.
Since then my XP Service Pack 3 machine with Internet Explorer 8 (fully updated) and Google Chrome cannot access any websites (or if an odd one can be accessed the load up is very slow and incomplete) through either browser!!!!! Thought this was a wireless router problem but on investigation appears to be down to the recent updates to 360.
Have tried uninstall and re-install of latest 360 but still have the problem. Then decided to uninstall and reinstall my original 360 V6 CD and ran Live Update. This also blocks access to websites. I failed to clear the problem even when I disabled the Anti-Virus and Firewall portions both times.
Then uninstalled again and re-installed the original 360 V6 CD without Live Update and I have in fact suspended the Auto Live Update feature.
I can now access websites.
I hope someone can look into this and resolve the issue which does not seem to have affected my 2 x other Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9 machines.
One very frustrated user after two and a half days troubleshooting the machine.
