Norton 360 Clean Does Not Work

I am using Norton 360 ver. 8.5.5. MacOS Catalina ver. 10.15.3. No error message/code. See screen shot.

I just got 360 Deluxe and am trying to clean up my mac. It takes a while to scan, but eventually gets there. But when I select the files to delete and click Clean, it cleans a bit at first, but just keeps running without ever stopping.

This thread does not help: https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v125101522, I followed all the suggestions and it still hangs while "cleaning." I need to quit for it to stop. I click "stop" and wait, but it doesn't seem to respond.

One other question. If I can get this to work, I want to clean up a lot of duplicates. I have a LOT. (So far, I have unselected all but only a few files to delete.) Is there an easier interface or method to do it other than looking at each and every one on the interface? In other words, can I export a report/list of dupes so I can do it manually in Finder?
