Norton 360 disabled itself. How do I reenable it? & when will Mobile Security for iPhones come out?

It popped a message and said I turned it off. No I didn’t. I NEVER turn it off. I can’t get it to turn back on!

Hi,

can you please tell us the exact version of your Norton product?
1. Open the main window
2. Click on Help & Support -> About menu
3. On the About window find the version number (it will look like this: 5.1.0.29)

Thanks!

Hi, Susan,

Welcome to our community!

I'll leave the first portion of your query to PapauZ, since he's weighed in.

On the second, unfortunately (as you likely know) Apple is notoriously reluctant to open up its APIs at the level necessary to create an effective security product. Norton is actively engaged with them to try to get the necessary access, but the ball is in Apple's court. The good news, of course, is that for the same reason it is very difficult to write effective malware for iOS devices--so as long as you have not "jailbroken" your iPhone, and practice safe browsing habits, you should be reasonably secure.

In the meantime, while we await access to the walled garden, as one of the volunteers who support the Norton Mobile forums, I'd like to invite you to join us here for Norton Mobile Security, and here for Norton Mobile Utilities Public Beta; there will definitely be an announcement if progress is made on this front!
