Norton 360 Failed to detect Trojan.Fraudpack & Hijack.StartMenu

I have Norton 360 and it failed to detect and stop Teojan.Fraudpack and Hijack.StartMenu. I was attacked and infected as I watched by Trojan.Fraudpack which popped up as AntiSpywareSoft while norton 360 was running. I knew what was going on and did a quick scan with norton and the result  was negative. I scanned with a free scanner Malwarebytes it found both in registry and removed them.
