Norton 360 failed to detect Vista Internet Security 2010!

Hi, all members of Norton,

I would like to inform you of a rogue security program called 'Vista Internet Security 2010' if it gets into your computer it will disable windows security center, fake messages will appear saying that your machine is at risk, fake scans will run claiming legitmate programs are viruses when they are not. When you try accessing the internet you will be approached by more pop ups.

I am amazed that Norton 360 FAILED to detect this virus.

After left without Norton 360 or any other security programs such as Superantispyware and MalwareBytes Anti-Malware detecting this virus. I had to use another computer and try to find some instructions to remove this virus, i ended up using a guide on Yahoo! answers it instructed to do a system restore, I followed the guide and now i have no virus on my computer.

As I use of Norton 360, Iam dissapointed that one of the leading security products on the market failed to detect it, it leaves me thinking what security product i should use in the future. I am glad i have got rid of the virus.

Well i disbaled the rogue and run superantispyware, malwarebytes, windows malicious removal tool, all came up with No threats detected. Im glad there was a helpful guide on Yahoo! answers which mentioned about a system restore, i did a restore and no i have no viruses.

Norton, really need to look into this issue and need to start researching about rogue programs, because if norton keeps failing at detecting there will be alot of customers annoyed, and this could lead to norton loosing customers.

I can now join the club of people who have this rogue trojan on my other computer. I am very distressed that my Norton Internet Security didn't pick this up and apparently there is no information provided anywhere on their web site.
