well i found it, no thanks to anyone here.
i thought symantec employees are supposed to help with questions here.
Glad you found the answer anyway.
Sometimes there is a backlog after the weekend -- I've certainly seen plenty of messages from Norton Staffers. Compared with other places this place is Paradise <g>
There are mor Symantec employees here than support staff in other security forum.
But sometimes and it better if you find out yourself

I agree with everything you say.
But it can be frustrating ... patience is a necessary virtue in using and in troubleshooting computers <s>
Where did you find it? Its deffinately not obvious and the help has no entry for “log” under the index tab.
You can’t find it because it’s not there, I don’t what the OP was referring to, anyway…
He’s probably referring to the “Only log event after it occurs X times” the program mentions or maybe its the “Control when to begin logging the network communication that matches this rule.” The help does mention about the option. Kind of makes it sounds like its supposed to be logging somewhere. Especially when I set up a Monitor only firewall rule. If its monitoring it then where is it logging the info?
Probably the log files in C:Program Files:Norton 360:Logs, I’m not 100% sure.
who have not found yet...
Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared and then open ccLgView.exe
All we need now is a log view for virus and spyware alerts…
